Burberry Makes A Bold Statement Of Colour In Their Spring 2015 Campaign
They say once you go black you don’t go back and for Burberry that may be the case. In light of all that has been taking place in black culture recently and the ever reigning need for diversity in fashion, Burberry continues to make bold statements of diversity with it’s brand. However, in this case it was not just about incorporating black faces into the campaign it was about bringing together the past and the present to introduce the future of fashion. Legendary supermodel Naomi Campbell 44 and already iconic supermodel Jourdan Dunn 24 posed off in a captivating and stunning new ad campaign for Bureberry’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection. Also starring were British hunks George Barnett of These New Puritans and George Le Page from the band Of Empires both of whom are musicians. This is not the first time the brand has incorporated dynamic duos such as these as earlier this year another legendary supermodel Kate Moss and legend in the making Cara Delevigne starred in the brand’s My Burberry fragrance ad. Burberry is definitely paying attention to relevance and is superb at creating new and innovative marketing strategies, from showcasing the brand’s most desirable pieces, to choosing the perfect campaign stars and it’s simple but effective shooting concepts. Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s CEO has a unique eye for what works and almost never misses the mark with these projects. What is obviously clear is that the British brand is shamelessly patriotic as their ads almost always as I recall feature famous British icons and we’re in no way complaining. The Brits definitely have it!
